If this looks wonky in your email program, you might prefer to read it in a browser.
You're receiving this because you signed up at Coudal.com or Jewelboxing and/or you recently bought something from us or one of our brands, like a tee-shirt or something else (we're a small creative firm in Chicago and we do a lot of different things). Whatever the case, thanks for signing up. If you'd like to quit getting these occasional missives, just click "unsubscribe" at the bottom. We're really very good about that.
Spring has sprung in our Museum of Online Museums and the galleries are full of new exhibits and listings. Admission is always free, but beware: it's a serious time-suck.
Also, if you're so inclined, we'd love to have you join our quasi-prestigious MoOM Board of Directors. In exchange for your $25 subscription, we'll send you one these coffee mugs to show off around the office and we'll list your good taste and philanthropic generosity on the site, too.
Do it this week and we'll also send you a copy of our Field-Tested Books Book, which will come in handy for planning your summer reading. Offer ends May 8, 2009.
Normally people are asked to submit a caption for a cartoon or photo. Last week we tried it the other way round and asked people to submit a photo that fit the following caption: "It seemed like a good idea at the time."
A thanks to everyone who submitted entries and congratulations to the winners: Jesse Burden sent in this tragic photo, Mike Brennan sent in this shot, and our favorite was Peter Fletcher's entry, which is fun to speculate about. All three will receive lots of goodies from all our brands.
Write a letter to our own Steve Delahoyde as if you went to high school with him in Phoenix and haven't seen or talked to him since. Tell him what you've been up to and then ask him for a favor. Most creative entry gets $300 to spend in the CP Shop. Deadline: Monday, May 11.

If you haven't been following along, you've missed some amazing design work this season and lots of funny commentary from our announcers and from the crowd on Twitter, too.
If you're only going to study one Layer Tennis match this season, you should probably make it last week's amazing May Day back-and-forth between Aaron Draplin and Chris Glass. Words fail.
Friday marks Week 12 of our live design competition season. The match starts at 2pm Chicago time and features Folkert Gorter of But Does It Float and Scott Hansen of ISO50 with Mr. Matthew Baldwin doing play-by-play commentary.

As always, thanks a ton for paying attention.
Love,
The Coudal Partners Crew.
BTW: Jim's on Twitter and so is Field Notes and Layer Tennis, too.
